AMB Students Get Glimpse of Animal Research

Students in the AMB Master's Degree Program visit the Pioneer Valley Life Sciences Institute (PVLSI) for hands-on animal training. The experience gives students a glimpse into animal research and biotechnology. This is just one area that AMB covers in the one year Master's program.

Working hands on in the lab provides students the opportunity to experience what a career in biotechnology is like. Interested? The Microbiology Department is now accepting applications for the Applied Molecular Biotechnology (AMB) professional M.S. degree program. AMB is a one year program (2 semesters and one summer) specifically designed for students interested in careers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. The deadline for applications for Fall 2019 enrollment is December 1, 2018.
