Collaboration & Consulting

We have a well-equipped modern microbial molecular biology laboratory. In addition we specialize in the development of genome-based computational techniques for analyzing sequence and expression data and have ample computational capabilities to support this research. Many of our research projects involve collaboration with other research groups on Campus, at other universities, and with businesses. We have currently have active collaborations with

  • Susan Leschine (Development of Clostridium phytofermentans as a model system for biofuels research).
  • Danny Schnell (Proteinaceous microcompartments in Clostridium phytofermentans).
  • Michael Henson (Microbial metabolic modeling).
  • David Damery (Renewable alternatives to gasoline).
  • Paul Catanzaro (Renewable alternatives to gasoline).
  • Andy Tolonen (Development of Clostridium phytofermentans as a model system for biofuels research).
  • George Church (Development of Clostridium phytofermentans as a model system for biofuels research).
  • Qteros (Development of Clostridium phytofermentans for biofuel production).
  • Erin Conlon (Genetic regulatory networks).
  • Joe Jerry (Modeling changes in mammary gland physiology related to breast cancer).
