MICROBIO 312 General Microbiology Laboratory

Microbiological laboratory procedures including sterile technique, microscopy, enrichment and isolation, and preservation. Extensive experience in the cultivation of microorganisms.  Covers a variety of topics including bacterial pathogenesis, quorum sensing, antibiotics, biofilms, bacteriophage and fungi.  Prerequisite: MICROBIO 310, either previously or concurrently.  This course is for Microbiology majors only.
